MET Gala 2023: Jared Leto & Doja Cat Amongst Celebrities Who Made A Purrfect Statement In Feline Inspired Fashion

The 2023 Met Gala's theme, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, inspired a flurry of fashion choices ranging from stunning tributes to the late designer's work to some wildly meowvelous feline looks that paid homage to Lagerfeld's beloved cat, Choupette. Rapper Doja Cat made quite the entrance, donning a stunning jeweled cat gown by Oscar De La Renta, complete with cat ears, a prosthetic cat nose, and claw-inspired acrylic nails. Her outfit was a sight to behold and purrfectly captured the essence of Lagerfeld's beloved feline friend.

But the real cat's meow came in the form of actor Jared Leto, who arrived wearing a fluffy cat suit and head with blue eyes and gray whiskers that perfectly resembled Choupette. When the cat head was removed, it was revealed to be Leto, who is set to star as Lagerfeld in an upcoming biopic he's producing. This isn't the first time the actor has taken a bold fashion risk, having removed his head on the red carpet before. This year's Met Gala was a celebration of beauty, art, and fashion, with Lagerfeld's legacy and Choupette's influence taking center stage.
